Presentation designed for potential use as a starter or plenary activity in KS2/3 English curriculum areas. There is also the potential to be used as an activity during a registration/tutorial period.
There are 5 “challenges” of increasing difficulty. The pupils are given clues and are asked to “decode” the word from these clues. Use of a dictionary is at the teachers discretion. The challenge slides are also available in black and white to allow use for a cover lesson or homework. There are 19 slides in the whole presentation with Hyperlinks embedded throughout.
