Use this First Man Movie Guide | Questions | Worksheet (PG13 - 2018) to explore Neil Armstrong’s world behind the scenes of the historic Apollo 11 moon landing. Ask students to put themselves into shoes of Neil and the American public during the 1960s and explain how they would have reacted to the events in the movie. Challenge students to analyze Neil’s character traits, the abilities that allowed him to make history and whether or not they hindered his personal life.

This resource consists of 11 high-level, short answer and essay questions that will do more than just ask your students to regurgitate information.

• Use the screen sharing tool on your group call software to play the movie
• Pause the movie at each question to give students time to write/discuss
