Five Pillars Islam - lesson 2 The Qur'an and Wudu

The 2nd lesson in a series on Key Muslim Beliefs and the Five Pillars. Designed for year 5 but easily adaptable. We look at how we prepare for particular events then lead into how we can prepare to read a unique, special book. Children design a ritual using water to prepare them for reading this book. (Religion neutral exercise). We look at how we keep special objects then look at the Qur'an and stand. How can we show we are treating artefacts with respect. Introduction to Wudu. Feedback welcome.
