Fractions Maze

Two differentiated puzzles: the first is shorter with multiplication of proper fractions only. The second is longer, has multiplication and division and also includes mixed numbers.

Good for when you want them to do more fractions but don’t want to use another worksheet or text book!

Solutions are included.

Leaving a rating is always appreciated - thanks.

I really love this - great use of a puzzle to engage students, with the choice of answers to help encourage them BUT there is a mistake, as reported below. I've managed to correct my copy now (thank you pdf editor!) but users please beware !!

My class couldn't find the route on the second one, because it relies on (8/9) x (3/5) = 1¼ in the second step, which isn't true. Don't leave this resource for a supply teacher's lesson.

I would prefer it white in order to make copies for my students, but thanks for sharing.

A really nice resource which as stated gives a little bit more life to a bunch of multiplying/dividing fractions questions. Nice variety in the questions and encourages simplifying fractions too.
