This is a French logic puzzle for the Tour de France. Pupils have to read the statements and fill in the grid beneath when they have the information. Extra clues can be gained from answering the questions at the bottom. As this practices the past, present and future tenses, this is an example of a higher level reading activity.

Merci beaucoup. Il y a 8 heures Christopher Froome a gagné le Tour. On fera les changements nécessaires. Ceci fera un excellent 'cover work'.

Great topical way to get learners brains ticking! I'd substitute Armstrong for Froome and Sastre for Quintana to bring it bang up to date!
