Full 7 week unit of lessons for John Boyne's The Boy at the Top of the Mountain (0-9)

This scheme of learning is designed for KS3 pupils studying the sequel to John Boyne’s The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, The Boy at the Top of the Mountain. The lessons cover all 13 chapters of the book and the Epilogue and each week’s lessons are matched with an appropriate homework sheet linked to that week’s reading. This SOW includes Reading and Writing tasks as well as frequent links to historical context. It contains to opportunities for assessment, one Minor (writing) and the other Major (reading). The scheme is sequenced lesson by lesson, and organised into weeks for ease of access/tracking.
