UPDATED WITH E3 WORD SEARCHES FEB 2021
A mix of blank and filled in word searches with words taken from GOV.UK.
All words included are needed for the 2019 Functional Skills reform for Entry Level 1, Entry Level 2 & Entry Level 3. All students must be able to spell and read the words listed. There are different worksheets for:
Past tense words
Contractions
1 & 2 syllable words
1 & 2 syllable words ending with ‘y’
Prefixes & Suffixes
Common words
The word searches can be used as a starter activity or a spelling task. I created these to use with some of SEND Entry Level 1, 2 & 3 students as they love word searches. I have also included blank grids so students can practice their spellings. The images included are linked to keywords.
