This resource is a 2 part lesson on tackling exam questions on Functionalist theories of crime and deviance.
The lesson contains 2 sample paragraphs of possible responses - response B is based around a previous exemplar (the full response received 10/10) which students are to highlight and assess - identifying skills and looking for areas of development. Students generally do poorly on the analyse 10 mark question so this was made in order to tackle misconceptions, particularly to ensure students recognise analysis, evaluation and the correct stems within the item.
