GCSE Core Science - Food and Health - Burning Food
This resource is one of four lessons and perfect for students of middle to lower abilities at targeting 'C' grades at the end of their course.
The focus is on obtaining energy from food and these resources support the basic burning food to heat water practical. There is a good video link and then very strong components to analyse and graph the practical results, developing key How Science Works skills.
There are also some differentiated activities and tasks, including a nice energy game.
