To be brutally honest, when it comes to English, it is an absolute headache to try and answer a question, as straight forward as possible. Unlike Maths and Science there is no one right answer, you could have as many interpretations as you like as long as it is evidently justified in the text.

In my opinion, this is also one the fatal flaw of Literature for all students; no matter how much revision you do, there will still be a question which could ultimately stump you. However, some may argue, without there being one right answer, there is simply no chance of making a mistake.

Additionally, being so vague means there is no fixed lay out in order to express your ideas; hopefully, with this guide, any question can be answered as long as you follow the steps provided.

I wrote this guide after getting an 8 in my mocks and my teacher asked if i could produce something for the class - this ended with me making 3 things which is part of the Step By Step Guide to English, this guide being one of them

I hope I’ve helped and please do share my guide with your peers

Good luck with your Revision and all your Exams
