GCSE English Language Quiz with Differentiated Activities

An ideal KS4 activity for the start of a term. The individual activities work well as a starter or an entire lesson dependent upon student abilities. Activities include:

• word search (key words)
• word check (GCSE terms)
• quiz covering Paper 1 and Paper 2
• ‘how many words can you create’ activity.

This resource includes an answer sheet.
The quiz covering Paper 1 and Paper 2 can be used as a simple, short standalone assessment.

I use this resource with my own Year 11 students at the start of the autumn term as it encourages a working knowledge of the the layout of both GCSE English Language papers.
