This is an incredibly Valuable tool for tracking your students progress. As Head of Art for many years I needed a document that I could use to “predict” students grades based on the 60% and 40% weightings. E.g. I needed to give grades based on if a student didnt complete his/her exam.
This document will track it all for you. You just have to enter the raw score out of 96 for each component (portfolio and exam) and it will give you both grades. If a student is underachieving in his/her exam then you can show them how much that will affect their final grade. It is a great motivational tool.
It just needs updating with this years grade boundaries to help you try to predict the grades.
All you need to do is input the Coursework Raw grade and the Exam Raw grade. Excel will do the rest.
