It is never too early to start revision and this is the message I have told my YR10s. To support with their revision, I have adapted the YR11 revision timeline plan from the start of Autumn Two term up until the end of Summer Two. On the first page, they have a reminder of what they are aiming for; their GCSE exam dates. On the second page, they have four revision techniques that we have modelled and created in class, so they have a very good idea on how to use them effectively. Then, the rest of the timeline plan has the following headings; –
Topic – One of the five GCSE topics.
I can objectives – The objective points which have been broken down from the main topic.
Quizlet – Links to vocabulary sets which have been shared by Quizlet https://quizlet.com/en-gb/content/edexcel-gcse-spanish-resources
Videos – Links to videos created by Oak National Academy https://classroom.thenational.academy/
Viva textbook – Page numbers to refer to in both Higher and Foundation GCSE Viva textbooks.
Revision book – Page numbers to refer to in both revision guide and revision workbook.
Vocab mapping – Providing a topic and key areas linked off with sentences in past, present and future.
