Geometry (Similarity) - A Tennis Problem KS3/KS4
In this worksheet students have to use similarity to work out how high above the ground a tennis ball must be when it is struck so that it will just clear the net. This activity can be used to introduce similarity or to assess a student’s ability to apply principles of similarity. An interesting problem that requires students to consider the assumptions they make, involves a lot of geometrical reasoning. Ideal for KS3 and KS4 students.
