This lesson is based on a text published by the Goethe Institut on the subject of wedding traditions (https://www.goethe.de/de/spr/unt/kum/kal.html) and was designed for an interview lesson addressing the Edexcel A Level topic ‘die Rolle von Traditionen’ and introducing/revising the Conditional/Konjunktiv.
Included are:
- a full, detailed lesson plan (both .pdf and .doc formats) - this includes a transcript for the listening exercise (to be read aloud by the teacher)
- a PowerPoint presentation
- two versions of the accompanying worksheet (one with extra support) (both in .pdf and .doc formats for printing/editing respectively).
There is enough material here for 2-3 hours of teaching, or perhaps 90 minutes of teaching and a homework to complete the writing task.
