GPS where's wally
I used this resource with my year 12 group to teach trilateration of global positioning systems.\n\nResources needed:\nEach student/pair receives a printed where's Wally page,\nThe &'GPS pings&'; sheet should be cut up and put into a hat/bucket/bag etc, will need a class set of compasses and rulers.\n\nThe students receive a ping from the bag by pulling one out of the hat in a lucky dip fashion. they then draw a circle around the point matching the description from the ping, using a ruler and compass.\n\nAfter doing this for 3 or more GPS pings, the intersection of the lines should locate Wally
