Grade 11-12: Student & Teacher Friendly Common Core & PARCC Aligned Writing Rubric

The high school grade 11-12 Common Core aligned writing rubric includes a one-page teacher friendly rubric aligned to the Common Core Standards as well as a one-page student friendly checklist. Each document, teacher & student, provides a framework for evaluating argument, informative, and narrative writing. Following PARCC's expanded rubric form, Dr. Dea's rubric delineates Common Core descriptors among five criteria categories: Reading Comprehension, Writing Development, Writing Organization, Clarity of Language, and Language Conventions. Additionally, Dr. Dea's rubric embeds Common Core grade-level language standards specifying grammar and conventions expectations. Documents are intended for single teacher use with rights to reproduce for classroom/student use.
