This resource is ideal to practice addition by counting on in a fun and interactive way during lessons, in Math centers and home-schooling. There are 20 jigsaw puzzles containing addition facts up to 20. The clip art used will surely motivate children during Halloween time.
This product is easy to prepare: Simply print, stick onto cardstock paper and cut out. (You could also laminate the pieces).
Shuffle the jigsaw pieces and then give them to your students to assemble. Students work out the addition sums and match the pieces with the jigsaw piece showing the answer. They will surely have a blast! :)
Please note: Students can work individually or in groups. I recommend that you partition the puzzles in 2 sets so that students would not get confused. You can obviously add more puzzles for students with higher abilities.
