A fully-resourced PSHE / RSE lesson all about what constitutes coercive and controlling relationships in comparison to a healthy one, the red flags, how the abuse can happen without victims realising, what to do if you are affected by them and how to get help. This has been created for the new PSHE Association RSE guidelines for 2020. The lesson has enough material to last between 60-90 minutes.

The lesson includes a 1 hour detailed PowerPoint, information sheets, differentiated challenge activities and worksheets, clips tasks with questions, debate focus task and case study tasks. These resources have been designed to be engaging, detailed and easy to follow.

Controlling Relationships

This detailed 21 page PSHE / RSE workbook and one hour lesson pack has been created for the new PSHE / RSE and Health 2020 Statutory Guidance (specifically unhealthy relationships) and focuses on what to look out for in controlling and bullying / coercive relationships. It contains all of the information needed to learn about the topic in the first few pages, then the rest of the booklet is full of activities to complete.
