This is a short 4 week unit of work based around the topic of Heroes and Villains. There are PowerPoint presentations and worksheets to go with individual lessons.
The lessons mainly focus on creative writing, looking at character development and how stories are planned and composed. The topic also includes aspects of media as the unit ends with children creating their own Superhero movie trailer - great opportunities for Speaking+Listening! The children loved this topic.
I delivered this unit to a low ability Year 7 class but would certainly work or KS2.
