Imagination Inspiration Creative Writing Workshop with Figurative Language
Dragons, fairies, adventures galore that are only limited by children's’ imagination! This easy to print and go writing packet has a focus on figurative language throughout and how it can be used within our leads in writing to Really grab the reader’s attention. The children learn to create attention grabbing leads for themselves, they see the power that figurative language brings to their writing and they are inspired and motivated to complete the story.
These tools I have used with 3rd grade-5th grade as reinforcement of the writing skills we have learned. No more groaning kiddos when you tell them to get out their writing notebooks! These leads are fun and develop fearless writers! 
Suggestions for use include:
Identifying the figurative language ( similes, metaphors, alliteration, personification , hyperbole etc.)
Developing skills with writing leads.
Reinforcing structure of a story plot.

Descriptive writing review and practice.
Included in this 28 page packet:
Writing paper with leads
