Introduction to Band Work - Another Day in Paradise. Includes chords, tabs, lyrics & explanations

This is a great project for classes who are being introduced to band work for the first time. You can teach all of the parts of this song including the ostinato line, chords on the piano and ukulele, lyrics for singers.
There is also a very clear structure for bands to follow as well as lessons on how to play a chord and follow a chord structure.
When teaching this topic as a whole class, student are very often able to go into bands and put the parts together as a rock/pop band.
I always teach this as the final topic for my Year 8s at the end of the Summer Term ready for Year 9.
