These lessons will provide a thorough introduction to the complexity of understanding Hadiths and introduce students to two Muslim scholars who are specialists in this area, Dr.Jonathan Brown (as mentioned in the OCR reading list) and Jeremy Henzell-Thomas. You will need 2-3 lessons and select pages from Brown’s book ‘Misquoiting Muhammad’ and the introductory chapter from ‘The Book of Hadith’ by Charles Le Gai Eaton to complete the written tasks.
