This download comprises of 11 lessons (two for each chapter and one for the cover ) fully resourced and differentiated. The lessons focus on the key skills of reading and allow the children to explore the high quality text, whilst learning new reading skills.
Learning objectives include to identify descriptive words or phrases and their impact, to create a glossary explaining the meanings of words in the text, to make inferences about whether a character is good or bad, to make an informed prediction about what will happen next and many many more.
The lessons have been developed for lower key stage 2 children, but could be easily adapted using the differentiated resources for any age group.
