This writing activity can be completed after reading “The Room on the Broom”. Students can complete the sentences verbally as an intraverbal assessment to complete criteria for the ABLLS-R assessment. They can also use multiple pages to with different animals to rewrite or retell part of the story. They can recreate the whole story by adding a new animal for each page while sequencing. Children also have a space to copy or write the names of the animals from the story. Fine motor can be addressed through coloring, cutting and writing. So many possibilities!!
