Flashcards for 3 year olds?. What is this with flashcards? I feel as if I am in a time warp back to the days of the Ladybird reading scheme. Are teachers really using flashcards with children in the EYFS? Understanding the printed word and learning to read should be in context. I find this sharing of flashcards very concerning.
