A few lessons based around the theme of Ancient Olympics as part of the KS2 new curriculum topic Ancient Greece.
The lesson starts with guided reading and note taking modelling to pupils using reference books or internet links. Pupils have time to research and share information via a few options to suit your own class. Included are notes on how to have your own PE Olympics. Finally there are maths links and a true/false quiz as wrap up and plenary. There is a full unit you can download also at reduced rate. My lessons cover literacy skills and are matched to the New Curriculum.
My planning is judged outstanding and my lessons are consistently also judged outstanding. I work really hard and long hours so am happy to share the dozens of hours I have spent on this unit to save you time. I have shared my free resources on TES for many years and had HUNDREDS of thousands of free downloads. Now I have decided to sell my best downloads to help me plan towards retiring!
