DISCLAIMER: These two lessons represent an adapted version of my previous lessons on Salvador Dalí and therefore use almost completely the same activities and resources, so if you have purchased those in the past, I advise that you do not purchase this item.

Includes 2 lessons (1 lesson and 1 worksheet per lesson). Could be used as part of a wider project on Spanish-speaking countries or Hispanic art, as culture is part of the new GCSE curriculum. Could also be used as end-of-term lessons.

  • Formed part of a Master’s level research enquiry at the University of Cambridge
  • Ideal for KS3 learning colours and descriptions, but could also apply to lower KS4.
  • Includes a range of authentic texts focusing on Salvador Dalí, including artwork, quotes, (adapted) authentic reading and a link to a video.
  • Includes a range of activities throughout including starters and plenaries, supported by the handouts.
  • Differentiated activities and student handouts to accompany.
  • Highly creative and engaging, encourages independent writing.
  • Can be incorporated into Schemes of Work which deal with colours and descriptions.

  • Lesson is completely prepared and thus no teacher preparation is necessary other than printing off student worksheets, and possibly supplying colouring pencils for the second lesson.
