This is a complete lesson (could well take 2 lessons) that uses a classic text (the Wizard of Oz) to explore character and language. There is also a higher mark, tension question to help students prepare for the GCSE Language Paper. A creative writing task is included. Model answers and an easy print out for students are also provided.
Would also be suitable for 13+ preparation and more able 11+ students.
