A great time saver for teachers delivering KS3 History. This is a Scheme of Work on medieval monarchs and whether they could rule how they wanted. It focuses on Henry II and Thomas Becket followed by King John, challenging the traditional interpretation of him as a 'bad king.' Over 4 lessons (and an assessment) it focuses on source work skills, interpretations and high level thinking skills. This SOW includes key questions and lesson enquiries as well as possible teaching and learning activities and links to 'Personal Learning Thinking Skills.' It also suggests assessment strategies and differentiation opportunities.
