This lesson was taught as part of a Science Fiction short story unit to a Y8 class but could be adapted for either Y7 or Y9. This lesson is focused on how to identify and comment on imagery in ‘A Sound of Thunder’ by Ray Bradbury. The lesson activity is group work which scaffolds language analysis. The lesson should cover roughly 2-3 lessons including group feedback.
