KS4 Chemistry and Physics Superheroes of the atomic model activity
This activity has been designed to support teaching the changes in the atomic model. This can be used for GCSE Chemistry but also overlaps with GCSE Physics. It can help students to:
• construct a timeline for the atomic model.
•state the scientists involved in the development of atomic model.
•describe the contributions of each scientist in the development of the atomic model.
•suggest whose contribution to the development of the atomic model was greatest.
•explain the Gold foil experiment (higher tier only).
• have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and understanding through a level of response question.

This resource contains both teacher guidance and the accompanying worksheets.
