This is a complete lesson on conservation of momentum that I prepared for a Y10 class. The concept of momentum was introduced and a couple of examples were worked through in the PPT with attention being paid to using the correct units. Students were then given several questions to work through on their own and these were then supported by
worked answers on the PPT. A Newton’s cradle was used to introduce and demonstrate the idea of conservation of momentum. Several worked examples were then demonstrated on the PPT to demonstrate an expected answer layout.

Includes a PowerPoint, Lesson Plan and Homework Questions and Answers.
