This is a complete lesson on power and electrical appliances that I prepared for a Y10 class. Start off by reviewing previous lesson on series and parallel circuits with a worked example calculating current in a circuit. Wire wool and battery demo to keep interest up and link back to fuses. Power equations (E=Pt, E=QV and Q=It) are then recapped and a derivation of P=I2R is worked through. A worksheet with
various Power problems is then worked through by the group.

Includes a PowerPoint, Lesson Plan and WorkSheet.
