Inspired by an existing powerpoint which exploits a rap called 'la familia&' (on youtube). The lesson focuses on the composition of families. Cultural reference to big families during the Franco era. The main activity involves students performing a rap. Students watch the rap, then form groups and practice performing new verses. Groups may invent their own verses, but I gave them each a verse, with some blanks they could fill in (such as age, name). At the end of the lesson there is a whole class rendition, with everyone joining in on the choruses.
