A collection of 3 skits for use in December as an end of term activity.

How Coronavirus Stole Christmas (NOT!!)
A Christmas Carol (No ghost remix)
How Fortnite Stole Christmas (NOT!!)

How All three skits involve ALL students in a class and require little or no memorization. During COVID, these could be recorded on video and edited together as part of a virtual assembly or an end of term activity.

Students can read their lines from scripts. There are appropriate messages in each skit and some humour that students will appreciate.

The Christmas Carol skit could involve some dramatic acting. The Fortnite/Coronavirus skits are very similar - Fortnite edited with some additions/changes for Coronavirus

How Coronavirus Stole Christmas (NOT!!) - includes POSITIVE messages during these challenging times.

**A Christmas Carol **- includes some humour, possibilities for some acting, and POSITIVE messages leading into the holiday season.

**How Fortnite Stole Christmas (NOT!!) **- humour around Fortnite/gaming but overall POSITIVE messages for students (e.g. not too much tech/Fortnite!!)

DETAILS:
Christmas Carol: An easy to use Christmas assembly idea that is loosely inspired by A Christmas Carol. Ideal for assemblies for students aged 9 and up. Some humourous elements that could be added to or customized according to your class and school. While Christmas is referenced, general ideas and activities that are not Christmas-specific are mentioned. It’s an inclusive assembly.
Involves all the students of a class and little need for memorization (Scrooge character and Bob would benefit from memorizing their lines).
Some creativity - creating letters on card to be held up in the assembly. Costumes unnecessary but students could wear festive clothing/colours. Our Scrooge wore an overcoat and a hat…
One microphone is perfect (for the student pairs reading their ‘Cards’). Although no mic is necessary if the students deliver their lines very clearly!
Our assembly went very well and the humourous parts were well-received!

FORTNITE: How Fortnite Stole Christmas (Not)

An easy to use Christmas assembly idea that includes humourous references to the popular game, Fortnite. Ideal for assemblies for students aged 8 and up. While Christmas is referenced, general ideas and activities that are not Christmas-specific are mentioned. It’s an inclusive assembly.

Involves all the students of a class and no need for memorization.

Some creativity - creating letters on card to be held up in the assembly. Costumes unnecessary but students could wear festive clothing/colours.

One microphone is perfect. Although no mic is necessary if the students deliver their lines very clearly!

Our assembly went very well and the humourous parts were well-received!

CORONAVIRUS: Similar to Fortnite assembly/skit
