A double-sided worksheet for Sing to the Stars, as published in Houghton and Mifflin Reading 4, that tri-folds into a pamphlet.
It includes an illustration section, a vocabulary practice (10 words), a story map or a "paint a picture" in the reader's mind activity (according to teacher choice), comprehension questions (5), and a 5 star review/recommendation section.
An instruction page and answer key are included.

This is the lesson plan and resources needed for children to make their own sound story/audio book for a book already written. They choose words from the pages that they will add sounds to, and then also a symbol for their chosen instrument (including voices), and then record their 'sound story.' These can then be used for lower year groups for a listening activity.
A Full scheme of work covering writing objectives using various of Roald Dahl's works (including Matilda and The BFG). It is easy to differentiate for KS 2 (7-11 year olds) and KS3 (11-14 year olds)and contains many worksheets for activities including vocabulary and punctuation use as well as descriptive and creative writing techniques.
Children loved making pizzas at our Italian pizza class. Resources have been exported from an Activ-primary flip-chart. (Which also includes Italian Pizzeria style music.) Fun to play when the children are making their pizzas or working. If you would like original please message me.

A powerpoint created for use with my year 5 literacy set. It outlines the three types of sentences and explains how to use a subordinate clause in the middle of a main clause. It also include examples at the end for the children to identify the clauses.
