This is a lesson I created for my Y9 high ability group. It works on the premise of a piece of scientific research stating that blue eyed students perform better academically than those with brown eyes. Obviously, this is all fabrication but if you deliver it convincingly enough (it is up to you how harsh you go!!) the students start to believe you. There is then a task to create a piece of writing with extensions suited to those of different eye colour. From my experience (and having done this a couple of times before in PSHE tasks) the students will fall quickly into the idea of being superior or wanting to break the mould of being 'just brown eyed' - then you can pause and get them to consider the 'real' experience of segregation/prejudice they have just had.
