These resources could take over three one hour lessons. There is a four page sources booklet on Life in Nazi Germany (focusing specifically on women; education; the Hitler Youth; the BDM and working life). There is also a table for students to complete. There are also extension sources. After completing the source analysis table (which will take at least one lesson) there are success criteria for students to write an extended answer on Life in Nazi Germany (this should take between one and two lessons). The success criteria are to develop students extended writing skills. I have also included a self/peer assessment sheet and a teacher mark sheet (should you wish to mark the extended essay formally) using 9-1 levels with a focus on developing students extended writing skills in History. These lessons will work well at key stage 3 but also key stage 4.
