Each list is referenced to the Support for Spelling 2 and Spelling Bank documents. I have also included a resources column which has references to books we have in our school and links to relevant Internet sites. Please leave feedback if you use this resource.
This PowerPoint presentation introduces Gustav Holst and the music of The Planets Suite. There is information about Holst’s life and the first performance of the music. Each movement has two slides. The first has facts about that planet’s Roman God and a hyperlink to a BBC Proms broadcast. The second has a ‘Did you know?’ slide highlighting an instrument from the movement or an interesting fact about the music. Please leave feedback if you find this resource useful.
