I adapted this from LouiseLilly's lovely Italian resource (http://www.tes.co.uk/ResourceDetail.aspx?storyCode=6071068) to use with my Y10 Spanish group. It can be used for any language or topic with just a few minutes work to adapt it.
As LouiseLilly explains it - use the file to create a set of laminated cards, placed face down in the middle of the table, turning over one card at a time. Each team writes down as many words fitting the category as possible in a limited timeframe. At the end any duplicates are crossed out and only unique words get a point.
