This is something I made following an idea off a course attended by a colleague recently...
Listening challenge - students see the question, but not the 4 possible answers. They need to do thumbs up if answers the question and thumbs down if not. Good way to do a quick starter!! My lovely class then requested the ppt off me so they could look up unfamiliar vocab at home!!
I will definitely be using this technique again, as it helps to build confidence when listening.
