Even though it’s only been a few months since the lockdown was lifted, the return to many aspects of normal life has been so swift that it seems to be far more remote than it actually was. It’s interesting to see how our memories of this time have changed and there has been a certain mythology developing.
In one small Oxfordshire village the owner of the local pub was recruited by a fellow villager to prepare and deliver fish and chips for the entire village every Friday evening. This assembly address asks students to think about the idea of community.
