Use these long a task cards to support your children to learn 3 of the different spellings for the long O sound.
There are 16 task cards. Each task card has a picture and children need to decide whether the picture uses the oa, ow or o_e spelling of the long O sound.
They can then use the answer sheet provided to write down which spelling it is and then to spell out the word.
A teacher's answer sheet is provided for easy marking or this can be given to children after they have completed the cards to mark their own work.
These cards could also be used clip cards if you provided children with clothes pins to go with the cards.
Simply print on card stock, chop and laminate so that these cards can be used time and time again.
(I have also included the cards duplicated in black and white for those with only a black ink printing option).
