This is an adaptation of a resource (in English) by lbuzzybea - thank you for sharing! I've translated it into Spanish for use in my unit on animals (linked to El Carnaval de los animales) and added a word scaffold at the end.
I printed out the habitats A4 and cut up the cards for animals. Learners match the pictures and animal words, then match them to the habitats (they all fit)
They then make sentences about which animal lives where using the scaffold for support.

I will use it with y 4. We have learnt pets, and animal farms. I've tried to use different activities, songs, guess the sound, so this exercise adds variety in the exercises I've used.
This is perfect! Thank you!
Links well with out whole school topic too!
