This is a revision activity that presents students with a macroeconomic problem that needs solving (eg. inflation too high), prompts them to consider alternative policies with which to tackle it, explain those policies, explain any side-effects or conflicts with other macroeconomic objectives, before making a policy recommendation.
Students are guided by Powerpoint through an example, before using the same structure to tackle a different problem. Nine problems are included: one used as a model and eight for students to complete. The worksheets are given in both Word and PDF.
This structure then helps students to write explain, analyse and evaluate paragraphs for exam questions.
