Magic Number
Pupils select a 2 digit number, add their digits, then subtract this answer from their original number. Pupils now have a new number which they then commit to memory. You then explain that the pupils will see several images and attached to each image will be a number, when their number appears they remember the associated image. (now play powerpoint) You then try to read their minds, after guessing ice cream, flowers, coconut, etc you correctly guess tomato. Well that is what is supposed to happen!
