Starter activity that pupils thought was a fun 'game'! I printed each type (fraction, decimal, %) on different colored card, stuck them all in view and got pupils to take it in turns to come up to the board and match them into groups (e.g. 0.5, 50/100, 50%, 1/2). Some equivalent fractions provide room for further discussion.
These strips can be useful for working with tenths and hundredths - I laminated them and the children played a game with them, where the leader calls out an amount of tenths/hundredths or both and the group have to show this on the strips in different ways.
Could also be adapted for use with more complex fractions and decimals
