Revision tool which regenerates new questions and self marks! For use on pupil shared areas, all questions modeled on past SATs.
Great alternative to use alongside practice papers, all answers will turn green when correct giving immediate feedback, hence also saves on printing/photocopying and marking.
This can also be put on as many machines as you like, once downloaded put on your school network for pupils to work on-screen (no complex installation just copy to the shared area) and generate a new set of questions with one click! (Just click 'calculate now' and a new set will be generated each time.) This will also be good practice for the use of on-screen tests.
Differentiated! - There is a support page, middle ability page and an extension page. On the last page are corresponding target lists which can be used for self assessment, tracking or to focus intervention.
Great for revising multiple topics whilst improving fluency and mental maths skills, and also includes a times tables booster!
(NB: Requires Microsoft Excel- Please read the instructions!!- check in settings that automatic calculations are switched off- just click formulas- calculation options- tick manual) (read only version to prevent pupils from saving any changes, just select yes when opening)
*** please message me via TES community if you have any questions regarding technical settings***

Using stages rather than levels, this is a reference sheet for each year group from 1 to 6 (with each stage being in line with year group expectations). Statements are taken directly from the 2014 Curriculum, split across the stages, with the added bonus of possible examples for each statement. I ran the original version of this in school and found variation among teacher assessments, hence the new addition of examples to support consistency and progress across the school.
This is a test style document that I used to assess my year 5's after teaching an area and perimeter unit. I made this myself to assess exactly what they had learned; simple area and perimeter of 2D shapes, word problems involving area and perimeter and area and perimeter of compound shapes including finding missing lengths/widths. This doesn&'t have to be used as a test, feel free to steal some of the questions for your lessons! Enjoy!

They have 4 attempts at each topic, if they get all 4 wrong, the game ends and they will have to start again. The 5 sections are: parts of a circle, circumference, area, reverse questions: given circumference, find diameter and radius; given area, find radius and diameter. KS3 adventure game in which students answer perimeter, area, surface area, and volume questions in order to explore space. PLEASE REVIEW / COMMENT. Choose to explore Triangulum, which has easier questions on area of a parallelogram and a triangle, perimeter and area of a composite shape made from rectangles, surface area and volume of a cuboid. Then when completed, choose to explore Andromeda, which has more difficult problems involving perimeter of a rectangle and area of a triangle, area of a trapezium, surface area and volume of prisms. At the end there is an analysis of the understanding of the topics. Go to my profile page and check out my other games.

(This file also has a bank of PowerPoint timers - it's the most useful planning tool ever!) The size of the file should show you how much stuff there is! Without sounding overly confident - it's the best resource out there!
NOTE: Following its success in the summer sale, I have decided to keep the sale price - so grab a bargain! Used to be £5. Many thanks.
