Use units of time, tell time on digital and analogue clocks (minutes past) (three days).

Children learn to tell the time in multiples of five minutes past the hour, both on digital and analogue clocks. They practise finding the equivalent times between the two. They then read times in between multiples of five on digital clocks and put times in order that are a mixture of digital and analogue displays. Children estimate the length of a minute, find how many times they can write their names in a minute and then use stopwatches to time various activities in minutes and seconds. Calendars are used to help find time intervals in weeks and days.
